Dr. Genevieve Dable-Tupas, MD, FPPS, MMedCE is a physician and clinical epidemiologist who currently serves as the Director for Research and Publication and Head of the Research Center at the College of Medicine, Davao Medical School Foundation. She is also an associate professor in the Department of Pharmacology and a fellow of both the Philippine Pediatric Society and the Philippine Society of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology.
With extensive experience in clinical and preclinical research, Dr. Tupas has co-edited books with Springer Nature and Elsevier, authored multiple book chapters, and contributed as an editor and reviewer for national and international journals. Her work continues to advance the integration of natural products, genomics, and clinical practice for the benefit of the community.

Dr. Maria Theresa Llamas Carin, MD, DPPS is a pediatrician and medical practitioner who serves as the Medical Director of the Davao Medical School Foundation Hospital. Certified as a Diplomate of the Philippine Pediatric Society, she provides both general and pediatric medical care with a strong focus on preventive health and patient-centered services.

Dr. Marie Aimee Hyacinth V. Bretaña, MD, FPPS, FPAAB is a physician and medical educator who currently serves as the Dean of the College of Medicine at the Davao Medical School Foundation. She also holds leadership roles as Assistant Dean and Assistant Head of the College of Medicine Center for Health Education and Clinical Simulation (COMCHECS), where she advances simulation-based medical training.

Dr. Marieldo S. Platero, MD is an internal medicine physician and medical educator who serves as an Assistant Professor at the Davao Medical School Foundation’s College of Medicine. He also acts as a Consultant Preceptor in the Department of Internal Medicine at affiliated hospitals, including the Southern Philippines Medical Center.
With experience as both a lecturer and clinical preceptor, Dr. Platero is actively engaged in shaping medical education and guiding research at the institutional level, while contributing to patient care through his internal medicine practice.

Atty. Alberto Rafael L. Aportadera, JD is the President and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Davao Medical School Foundation, Inc. (DMSFI), where he provides strategic leadership in health sciences education and community service. A seasoned legal practitioner, he brings his expertise in law and governance to guide policy development, organizational direction, and civic engagement.
Under his presidency, DMSFI has achieved significant milestones, including producing its first Physician Licensure Examination topnotcher. Atty. Aportadera continues to embody a forward-thinking approach to legal advocacy, educational advancement, and institutional impact.
Cheif Operations Officer - DMSFI
Dr. Oliver G. Victoriano, DBA serves as the Chief Operations Officer of Davao Medical School Foundation, Inc. (DMSFI), where he provides strategic direction in institutional operations, academic programming, and inter-institutional collaboration. With both an MBA and a Doctorate in Business Administration, he brings extensive expertise in organizational management, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
Dr. Victoriano has been instrumental in formalizing partnerships, including MOUs and MOAs alongside DMSFI President Atty. Aportadera, while also leading recognition ceremonies and public events that highlight the institution’s achievements. His operational acumen, collaborative leadership, and strategic insights continue to strengthen organizational performance and advance DMSFI’s mission in health sciences education.
Data Privacy Officer
Gregorio R. Candelario, Jr., MPA is the Head of Data Privacy and Telemedicine at Southern Philippines Medical Center and a former WHO–DOH ICT Consultant for the National Patient Navigation and Referral Center. With more than 30 years of leadership in IT project management for healthcare and corporate sectors both locally and abroad, he has directed large-scale hospital information systems, telemedicine initiatives, and data privacy compliance programs.
He holds a Master’s in Public Administration, MBA units, and a BS in Civil Engineering. A recognized researcher and active resource speaker on telemedicine and data privacy, Mr. Candelario has also been honored with a leadership award from the University of Southeastern Philippines for his contributions to innovation and governance in health technology.

Dr. Mechelle Acero Palma, MD, FPCLM, FACLM is a certified family physician and Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She serves as President of the Philippine College of Lifestyle Medicine, Secretary of the Asian Lifestyle Medicine Council, and a member of the World Lifestyle Medicine Development Taskforce.
Dr. Palma is the founder of Lifestyle Medicine Solutions and Culinary Medicine Asia and has been instrumental in establishing Lifestyle Medicine departments in Bacolod and Antique Adventist Medical Centers. She also developed the Lifestyle Medicine curriculum at the Adventist University of the Philippines and continues to lead training, accreditation, and board examinations that advance the field of lifestyle medicine in the Philippines and across Asia.

Dr. Bysshe Fernan, MD, DLM, MPH is a family physician and lifestyle medicine diplomate with a strong background in clinical practice, public health, and medical education. Cristela Mae C. Candelario, RMT, MSMT is an Assistant Professor at San Pedro College’s School of Medical Laboratory Science and a doctoral candidate in Public Health at the University of the Philippines Manila. She has extensive experience in medical technology, academic research coordination, and health policy projects, with a strong focus on telepsychiatry, patient navigation, and community-based health programs.
Cristela has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in international journals, led DOST-funded research projects, and served as a consultant on health policy initiatives. Dr. Mikhail Ness Mendaros Buhay, MD, RN is a physician, registered nurse, and medical educator who serves as a full-time faculty member at the Davao Medical School Foundation. He teaches Gross Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Pharmacology, and Internal Medicine, while pursuing a Master’s in Health Professions Education at the same institution.
Dr. Buhay earned his Doctor of Medicine from West Visayas State University and completed his internship at Davao Doctors Hospital, where he was awarded Most Outstanding Intern in several specialties. Dr. Joenica Dale A. Roque, MD, RN is a physician and school health practitioner who currently serves as a part-time school physician at the Davao Medical School Foundation. Dr. Maria Fatima Quianzon Manuel, MD, FPAFP is a family physician and medical educator who serves as a consultant at the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Davao Medical School Foundation Hospital, and as a part-time Assistant Professor at the DMSF College of Medicine. She is a Fellow of the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Health Professions Education at UP Manila.
Dr. Manuel has served as Emergency Room Manager at DMSF Hospital, authored research in The Filipino Family Physician Journal, and received multiple academic and research awards. Dr. Jasper Belinoac Gumarang, MD is a physician and educator who currently serves as Medical Officer III at the DOH–SOCCSKSARGEN Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center in Alabel, Sarangani. He also teaches Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, and Parasitology as a part-time faculty member at Brokenshire SOCCSKSARGEN College.

Dr. Ofel Joy Faith A. Lupogan, MD, RN is a physician and public health leader who currently serves as the Municipal Health Officer of Cateel, Davao Oriental. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Davao Medical School Foundation and is pursuing a Master’s in Public Management, majoring in Health Governance, at Ateneo de Manila University. She is also undergoing Practice-Based Residency Training in Family and Community Medicine at the Davao Regional Medical Center.
Since 2021, Dr. Lupogan has been at the forefront of strengthening healthcare delivery in Cateel, combining her medical background, nursing foundation, and ongoing training in governance and lifestyle medicine to advance community health in Davao Oriental.

Dr. Kristine Dardo Seredrica, MD is a physician and health professional who currently serves as a Medical Specialist III at the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation. A graduate of the Davao Medical School Foundation, she also holds a BA in Management Economics from Ateneo de Manila University and has pursued studies in law at San Beda College of Law.
Dr. Seredrica previously served as a Resident Physician at Brokenshire Medical Center, where she led institutional health programs, coordinated interns, and served as Internal Chief Resident. Dr. Ian Cornelius Sim Abundo, RN, MD is a physician, educator, and occupational health specialist who serves as an Associate Professor at the Davao Medical School Foundation, where he teaches Biochemistry, Pharmacology, and the Arts and Science of Medicine. He also practices as an Occupational Health Physician for DMMA Diagnostic Clinic and Teleperformance Davao, supporting workplace health and compliance.
A registered nurse and CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, Dr. Abundo integrates medicine, research, and fitness through his work at CrossFit Cranium in Davao City. He has authored research publications, contributed to international medical texts, and continues to advance holistic approaches to health and wellness.

Dr. Mikael Gnar L. Yu Ekey, MD is an occupational health physician with a foundation in medical laboratory science and clinical medicine. He earned his BS in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of the Immaculate Conception and his Doctor of Medicine from the Davao Medical School Foundation. He has provided occupational health services in both healthcare and corporate settings, including Concentrix, Ana’s Breeders Farm, Holcim Philippines, and DMSF Hospital.
Dr. Yu Ekey is currently training for diplomate status in Lifestyle Medicine under the Philippine College of Lifestyle Medicine, advancing his commitment to workplace health and community wellness through preventive and lifestyle-based approaches.

Shenivel Bante is a licensed teacher and education graduate from St. Mary’s College of Tagum, specializing in Filipino. She has experience in administrative support, social media management, and private language tutoring, with strong skills in communication and research.
Shenivel previously worked as a social media manager and secretary for Jha’s Fashion, and as a private Filipino and Cebuano tutor. She is fluent in English, Filipino, and Cebuano, and has published research in Filipino language studies.

Jasmine M. Andres is a biotechnology graduate, cum laude, from Visayas State University and a DA-Biotech Scholar. She has professional experience in research and development projects at the Davao Medical School Foundation, including maternal and child health initiatives and health policy translation programs.
Jasmine has interned at the Philippine Genome Center – Visayas and contributed to multiple funded projects under DOST. She has presented research on metagenomic profiling for bioremediation and actively participates in scientific conferences and training programs in biotechnology and health research.

Edwin James R. Calingasan is an Information Technology graduate, magna cum laude, from the University of Southeastern Philippines, majoring in Information Security. He has experience in web and mobile app development, ethical hacking, and technical support, complemented by leadership roles in student organizations and esports management.
Edwin has served as an intern providing web development and technical support at the City Social Welfare and Development Office in Davao City, and has been a guest speaker at multiple developer workshops and IT training events. Philip Greg C. Candelario is an Information Technology student majoring in Information Security at the University of Southeastern Philippines. He has experience developing payroll and telehealth systems, contributing to both academic research and professional projects in healthcare technology.
Philip has developed Payward, a professional fee payroll system for medical practitioners, and contributed to telehealth initiatives including a Django-based telepsychiatry platform. He currently serves as a trainee junior programmer at Davao Medical School Foundation Inc.

Keziah Mariz E. Bante is a Computer Science major specializing in Data Science at the University of Southeastern Philippines. She has hands-on experience in UI/UX design, system documentation, and collaborative project work, with involvement in academic research and student leadership.
Keziah has contributed to projects such as WasteWatch: IoT-Based Trash Detection and AI Dashboard, a Gasoline Station Inventory System, and a freelance medical website design. She previously served as Chief Creative Officer of the Developer Student Community at USeP and has volunteered in hackathons and research initiatives, including the NASA Space Apps Challenge and a telemedicine field study.

Blanco is a Medical Laboratory Science graduate from the University of the Immaculate Conception and currently serves as a Medical Technologist at the Davao Medical School Foundation – Center for Research and Development. She has professional experience across major hospitals and diagnostic centers in Davao and Tagum, specializing in hematology, clinical chemistry, immunoserology, and phlebotomy.
Isabel previously worked at OK Laboratory and Diagnostic Center Inc. as a Senior Phlebotomist and has served as an on-call medical technologist at UNICARE Laboratory. She has also completed extensive internships at institutions including Brokenshire Medical Center, Southern Philippines Medical Center, and Davao Regional Medical Center.

Alvin Roston R. Plata is a committed medical technologist and academic instructor who has been serving at the Davao Medical School Foundation Inc. since 2011. Bridgette Nicolette Manliguez is a Computer Science student majoring in Data Science at the University of Southeastern Philippines, specializing in UI/UX design. She blends creativity with logic, using tools like Figma, Canva, and Adobe Suite to craft responsive and user-focused designs.
Bridgette has contributed to projects such as a School Application Inventory System, the AVR Booking System, and proposed e-commerce dashboards. She also designed creatives for the Google Developer Group Davao International Women’s Day 2024 event.

Rubel Rio Alvez, RTRP is a registered respiratory therapist in the Philippines and a graduate of San Pedro College with a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy. He has completed over 1,600 hours of hospital and clinical duties, with experience in procedures such as ECG, ABG, nebulization, and pulmonary function testing.
